ULTRARUNNER · 50+ FINISHES / COACHING

Personal ultramarathon preparation with ongoing support

Personal preparation for your target ultramarathon, with ongoing feedback, adjustments and race-specific planning. I work with a limited number of runners so each gets proper attention.

Ongoing coaching places are limited. Availability is discussed individually.

FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE

50+ ultramarathon finishes. Experience racing for up to 30 hours and completing mountain ultras longer than 100 km with over 8,000 m of elevation gain. Race stats come from my personal journal; the full race archive is being expanded.

01

Start with your current situation

We look at training history, previous races, recovery, constraints, available time and your target event to set realistic priorities.

02

An adaptable preparation plan

A personalised training structure is reviewed and adjusted as you progress. We agree on the feedback schedule and level of support before starting.

03

Training for the real race

We address long efforts, hills, technical descents, fuelling, equipment, recovery and a practical checkpoint strategy where relevant.

04

A limited number of runners

Ongoing feedback takes time. I therefore only work with a limited number of runners at once, and we confirm availability after an initial conversation.

From the race journal

30 hours at Rosa Wild Trail: plan versus reality

111 km, 7,800 m of climbing, heat, cold, gastrointestinal issues in the second half and a storm before the finish.

Questions and answers

Can I start immediately?

We first discuss your goals, current training, fit and available places. If it makes sense, we'll agree on the next steps.

Can you help with 50 km and 100 km events?

Yes, if the goal is appropriate for my experience and your current training background.

Is a race finish guaranteed?

No. Preparation and strategy can improve readiness but cannot guarantee an outcome.
